Welcome to the Neighborhood News!
At Easter time, it is great to be able to express our deepest feelings of rejoicing and amazement, not only at the miracle of the Atonement, but also for the Resurrection. We all do it differently. Some of us pray, some sing, some hide eggs, and some of us sit and watch Conference.
Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen shares with us the way she feels about the Savior. She enjoys expressing herself through music, and that’s what we find in her article “Be Still and Sing”, in which she shares an experience, and other ‘tender mercies’ she has received throughout the years.
We enjoyed so much Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin’s talk the first time he gave it, that when Mormon Messages came out with this video we had to include it in the newsletter. It’s entitled “Sunday Will Come.” It is about the sadness and other hard parts of life that he refers to as “Friday”, but because of the infinite Atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will see Sunday.
And, for your convenience, here’s a conference packet provided by Sugardoodle.com that will be a life saver for you and your family. All you have to do is download it and print it for your little ones. It’s perfect for this weekend’s activities, to keep your kids busy while listening to the talks.
As with every Friday, at yourLDSradio, we have Free Download Friday. Today's spot light is on Brad Jacobsen, and his album "In the Light". Enjoy.
