It’s Friday, and we have a bunch of good ideas to brighten the rest of your week.

To begin, we have our contributor Cami Checketts, from “Cami’s Books.” Cami is the author of “The Sister Pack”, now in bookstores. She wrote this article about reading to our kids, and made a list of suggestions on how to encourage them to read more. It’s always nice to be able to have suggestions that we can follow, especially when we’re tapped out.

The next article comes from “LaurieAnna’s Vintage Home.” What a place to visit! She always has amazing pictures to show her renovations. This time she tackled an empty hallway, and she did it all in just one day. Check out the amazing before and after pictures. Go on and get some ideas.

From Sugardoodle.com, we have a great Family Home Evening lesson. It’s called “Be of Good Cheer” and it’s based on President Monson’s talk from April 2009. You’ll have a good time doing it, and it even has a science experiment.
