Sometimes things happen around us, and we don’t realize what’s going on. We’re so engrossed watching the forest that we miss the tree. For example, read Tristi Pinkston’s article “It’s What We Bring to It.” In this article, Tristi mentions the fact that she’d noticed all these wasps around every time she got in or out of her van, but never realized that they had actually made their nest inside the side mirrors. Then she goes on to tell us what the experience has taught her. I love it when people find meaning in the small, domestic things in life. Tristi blogs at

Joy from
Momma’s Kinda Crafty is so lucky. She says her friend owns Fast Easy Bread, and “This stuff is amazing and makes bread making fast and easy! I have taken her bread class and I don't think I would make bread as often as I do without it!” I love recipes that use bread; this one can be used in different ways. Just use your imagination and what’s in your pantry/fridge.
Contributor Jody M. sent this Family Home evening lesson to
Chocolate on My Cranium: “Luck Vs Work.” It’s based on the famous Aesop's tale about the grasshopper and the ants. The point of the lesson is to teach family members that work directly affects how much ‘luck’ you may or may not have in life.
