Wise Choices

Welcome to the Neighborhood News!

Rachelle Christensen is such a darling person. You can feel her beautiful spirit, just by the way she writes. In today’s post, “Scattered Seeds”, she seems to be talking about seeds and bird feeders, but the deeper lesson it gives us is much more meaningful.

It is always a good thing when we can hear from the General Authorities. This talk was taken from a Church Educational System broadcast via satellite in English throughout the world, with a rebroadcast translated into 24 languages. Elder Quentin L. Cook from the Quorum of the Twelve spoke to seminary and institute teachers about the importance of teaching young people to make good choices.

Who doesn’t love a superhero? We have all donned the capes, or tights, to emulate someone from the movies. What if we taught our children with this Family Home Evening lesson that there are other kinds of heroes? It is a great lesson, with good ideas on how to teach it, and all the kids will love it.

As usual, on Fridays we at Positive Music and Downloads offer Free Download Friday. Please enjoy The Best Two Years by Michael McLean.
