Love Please, and Peas



Today's Neighborhood News has Cindy Beck talking about unconditional love in The Heart That Has Truly Loved: "With February being the month for love, I thought I’d post a story I wrote a few years ago. Although the story is based on a true event, the main character’s personality is a figment of my imagination."

Paul, from A Latter-Day Voice brings the thought of Heavenly Father's love for us in "Unconditional" Love?: "While divine love can be called perfect, infinite, enduring, and universal, it cannot correctly be characterized as unconditional. The word does not appear in the scriptures."

Since the 16th century, royalty dined on peas due to their sweet flavour. Dine like royalty on homegrown peas with these tips on How to Grow Peas: "Cool temperate climates suit peas best. Sow in very early spring, once any heavy frosts are over."

Don't Just Say it, Show it


In today's Neighborhood News Jennifer Ricks talks in her blog Cleaving Together about her early married life: "This simple delegation of housework was the beginning of how we learned that housekeeping can mean love."

Dave Ward from eHow reminds us to remember our daughters at Valentine's time: "Most men remember their wives on Valentine's Day. We can forget, though, how important our love is to our daughters."

Margaret in Sandy, UT contributed to the blog Family Home Evening in a Snap, and shares her family home evening about the importance of hugs.

Prepare Your Heart


Today's Neighborhood News offers a little heart conditioning. Our first article, "A Month of Love" is by the popular LDS author, Heather B. Moore. In her teens, Heather had the unique experience of living in Jerusalem among the numerous sites where Jesus walked, taught and spent his final days. During this month of love, she reflects upon her time in Jerusalem and of one of the greatest commandments, to love one another as the Savior loves us.
